Juan Pablo Torres

Juan Pablo Torres is o­ne of the most prominent Cuban jazz musicians around and has been entertaining people since his career took flight in 1967. The renowned trombonist is well-known across Europe and in the United States for his role in the recordings of Charles Azvanour, Paquito D'Rivera, and Gilberto Santa Rosa. He has collaborated with other talented musicians such as Astor Piazzola (you can view a review of his album at orcasound), Bebo Valdez, Tito Puente and Eddie Palmeri. Juan Pablo has recorded about two dozen albums of his own as well. The multi talented Torres also produced this album which includes songs like "El Chocolate," and the melodious "El Paralitico." The music is simple, the vocals and instrumentation rich in sound. It's worth a listen.
