This was an excellent movie; from the acting to the cinematography to a plot that doesn't let you down. We witness the story of a man Fernando, played by German Jarmillo, who returns to Colombia. Along with his newfound lover Alexis, a street gangster played by Anderson Ballesteros, he discovers how his hometown has turned into a gangster's paradise in which nothing seems to remain sacred. This movie holds moments that make us laugh at how lightly our actors deal with cold-blooded murder and moments that shock us as we discover the state in which Colombia has become. I must admit that the movie was about 20 to 30 minutes too long, but if you enjoy a movie that will show you the harsh reality of life in another country, and will leave you thinking about it; Our Lady of the Assassins is the ticket for you.
