Sissel / Self-Titled

This is Norwegian native Sissel's debut solo album in North America but she is far from a beginner. Sissel has been a household name for years in her homeland and her solo albums have been certified gold in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The rest of the world discovered this graceful vocalist when she amazed audiences at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. Aside from that, she left an unforgettable impression on millions of moviegoers who heard her solo vocals that set the haunting mood of many scenes in the Oscar winning film "Titanic." Her style ranges on a more classical side and her current album is enchanting. "It's all very basic, down to earth, very simple," says Sissel. "Can't Go Back" touches on the topic of heartbreak. The mood lightens up on the track "All Good Things." Other notable tracks include "Carrier Of A Secret," "Should It Matter," and "Solitaire. An artist to discover.
