The soundtrack to the movie Love Actually is a nice compilation of romantic songs. It features a variety of contemporary artists, such as Kelly Clarkson, Dido and Norah Jones, but also classic artists like Otis Redding, Joni Mitchell and The Beach Boys. I have yet to see Love Actually, but was told that this soundtrack fits the movie perfectly: each song transports the listener back to a specific point of the film. However, the album can be appreciated even if you haven't gotten the chance to see the movie. The album features a few covers, such as Lynden David Hall's soulful rendition of John Lennon's "All You Need Is Love". Also included is a new version of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now", which really showcases her beautiful voice. The best part of this album are the 3 classic bonus tracks: Otis Redding's "White Christmas", Billy Mack's "Christmas Is All Around" and Olivia Olson's "All I Want For Christmas Is You". Standout songs on this soundtrack are Dido "Here With Me", Norah Jones "Turn Me on", Eve Cassidy "Songbird", "Texas "I'll See It Through", Sugababes' "Too Lost In You" and Craig Armstrong's, "Glasgow Love Theme".
