Ute Lemper / But One Day

Ute Lemper is back on the music scen with her follow up to "Punishing Kiss" entitled "But One Day." Listeners will notice that Lemper's voice is quite distinct. The mood of the album is somehwhat dark and mysterious. The first track "I Surrender" and "But One day" is described by the artist as being odes to to passion and love along with the everlasting search to find peace within it. "Buenos Aires" and "Oblivion" are pieces by acclaimed musician Astor Piazzolla. Jacques Brel's songs "Ne Me Quitte Pas" and "Amsterdam" are well performed by Lemper. She mentions that these songs have been requested by fans over the years so that's why she decided to record them. Also check out "But One Day" and "September Song."
