Coming out of Calgary's punk scene, the five members (Kyle on vocals, Clay on guitar, Matt on bass, Jimmy on guitar, and Eric on drums) of Knucklehead have been together since 1994 and this is their 4th full-length album. They have traveled throughout North America and Europe with the likes of The Misfits and The Swingin' Utters. The band's sound is influenced by such artists as Bad Religion, Billy Bragg and Social Distortion. They play a brand of straight forward punk rock. Carrying on the original intention of punk rock as a means of voicing social-political gripes, the lyrics to Knucklehead songs deal with such issues as out-of-control consumerism or society's mistreatment and devaluing of prostitutes. This 12-track album is full of high energy yet melodic punk tunes.
