If you are into 50 Cent and all his protégés then this is the album for you. It is one of those soundtracks that are the 'music inspired by' types, so not all the songs were actually in the film of the same name. The CD is somewhat uneven as the outings by Olivia, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, and Lloyd Banks sound like fillers whereas the tracks featuring Mobb Deep, Nate Dogg, M.O.P., and 50 Cent himself fare much better. Maybe 50 Cent should think of including artists who are not from his stable on his next album. Of the 18 tracks the most interesting is a collaborative rap track featuring Mase, 50 Cent, Prodigy, Lloyd Banks, and Mobb Deep called "I Don't Know Officer" about loyalty and not snitching. What is strange about the album is that the music does not have the same personal and intimate touch that the movie did.
