This is the second album for the British ensemble founded by Simon Little and Tom Bidwell. I say ensemble because their numbers seem to shrink and then swell often. The album has a nice mellow sound to it and it varies between vocal numbers and instrumentals. As they use many different vocalists (some doing a type of spoken word vocal) it gives an interesting nuance to their different songs. Even the artwork on the album is interesting and high brow. The lyrics to all the songs are written, as if in a stream of consciousness, in one paragraph on one of the inside pages. They sorta have that sound that you would hear playing in any number of trendy lounges up and down St. Laurent. If you are a fan of Royksopp or Zero 7's music then check out this band.
