Any album that comes out in the spring and has a song entitled "Hold My Beer" on it is pretty much guaranteed to get played at every summer BBQ party held in North America. Country music is huge south of the border but doesn't get much play in our great province, unless your name is Shania Twain, but this Canadian (from Vancouver) is trying to change that. Aaron Pritchett has gained some recognition in the country music circles and has found himself opening for the likes of Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson. Now this is huge exposure for an up-and-coming Canadian! Typical of country music the topics covered on this album include broken hearts, alcohol and road trips. The sound is definitely in the country pop vein. He will be touring all throughout Canada in the spring and summer, but the closest he will get to Montreal will be a show on August 25, 2006 in Ayers Cliff, Quebec.
