During the 1980s Poison were the kings of big haired rock and roll. They represented everything heavy metal was of that era – teased hair, overtly sexual, spandex wearing, and extremely campy. It is an album of music whose time has passed, but that doesn't mean that we cannot listen to it now with a sense of nostalgia and still loving it. All their big hits, like "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", "Talk Dirty to Me" and "Unskinny Bop" are all on this 18 track CD. There is even a new song, which is a cover of the Grand Funk Railroad song "We're An American Band". Following the claim, if they were an example of an American band of the 1980s then the U.S. has become less a fun place musically in the years that have followed. If listening to the album makes you feel sad that this type of metal no longer exists then fear not the boys of Poison hit the road for a tour to support the release of the album.
