Forty different breeds and a total of around 250 cats/kittens will be involved in this year's Cat Show at Place Bonaventure. One hundred and twenty-five of the top breeders in North America will be competing in the show. This makes it the biggest cat show in Canada. That is something to meow about, no? Over the course of the three day show there will be nearly continuous judging going on, many vendors there to peddle their cat wares (plenty of free samples are usually available) so you can buy Fluffy the perfect Christmas gift and the breeders are there with their cats so you are able to walk around, see them and ask questions. Some breeders also have some of their blue blood kittens up for sale. There will also be some veterinarians on site for you to ask them health and other questions about cats. The cat show has been going on in Montreal for roughly 90 years making it a long standing tradition for Montrealers at this time of year.
