The holiday season is just around the corner so when selecting festive music at your nearest record store, don't mistake J. Holiday's name into thinking this artist is in any way reflecting this cheery time of year. J.Holiday's R&B flavored music is quite the opposite really. Songs like the title track and "LAA LAA," promote drinking and the use of drugs. So it kinda hypocritical of him when he's trying to sound encouraging or inspiring on "Ghetto" and "Thug Commandments." The rest of the album is predictable, as it mainly objectifies women and shows just how sleazy some guys really can be. J. Holiday has a really smooth voice but he's singing about the same ol' tired crap. Save your money for something better.
