For anyone who has lived through a similar experience this poignant film about taking care of a parent as they die will seem very familiar to them. It is sad, but director/writer Steve Stockman (first film) also instills some humour in the film so it does not become too dark. Sally Field turns in once again a solid, believable performance as the dying matriarch. It is a film in which many people live through this type of experience, but there is not much talk about it.
