Sometimes too much of a decent thing is simply too much. The quartet from Louisiana chose to record too many ballads or slow tempo songs on this their third album. The faster paced songs are definitely the stronger ones or the ones that stand out more. They are tunes that rock radio DJs will play over and over.
Much of the album is filled with simple to grab message songs. They are filled with angst, sorrow, hope, and despair. The song "World So Cold" might be recognizable as it was used on a YouTube tribute for the Virginia Tech students.
I'm not sure this album will get them out from flying under the radar with their music. A little too formulaic and generic sounding.
