Rod Stewart

In 1975 Rod Stewart signed a contract with Warner Records. This was the beginning of the era of when he became a huge rock star. The 2-CD album was his first release for them. It was his 6th solo CD and the first he recorded without any of the members of his band Faces. "Atlantic Crossing" (refers to the fact that he moved to the United States) contains the classic songs "Sailing" and "This Old Heart of Mine". This is era where Rod Stewart still made original music instead of covering other people's. The second disc is made up of alternate versions of the songs from the album. A real collector's must.
