Their debut album is something that shouldn't be taken as whole. Each song is like an individual piece. Each song while different from the next they all put you in that total summer frame of mind. The songs sport catchy melodies and is just makes you feel totally laid back while you are listening. The songs are like a flash from the past giving out that 60s psychedelic garage rock band vibe. Secret Colours travels down the same path as The Raveonettes and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Everything about the band, sound and style, is retro.
