Rascal Flatts is definitely not your grandfather's country band. They are the embodiment of modern country. Even for those out there that normally hate country music they still find themselves fans of this band. It really is pop music with a country twang to it.
Positivity is the name of the game on this album. Lots of uptempo and forward lookingness going on. Rascal Flatts want us to look at the glass as half full rather than half empty. It is also their tenth year together as a group and they wanted to show that they still are growing as a group.
An interesting twist on the album is a guest vocalist appearance by Brit Natasha Beddingfield. In one of those "who would have thunk it" moments the pop singer fits in rather nicely. She joins the three members of Rascal Flatts on the song "Easy".
