The Bratz, Cloe (Olivia Hack – Bratz Rock Angelz, The Brady Bunch Movie), Jade (Lacey Chabert – from television's Party of Five), Sasha (Tia Mowry – The Hot Chick), and Yasmine (Dionne Quan – Rugrats), are part of a cross-country hunt for fashion design talent. What they encounter along the journey is more than they ever expected. The girls have joined a reality show, which is hosted by their friend Byron (Greg Ellis – Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties, Mr. & Mrs. Smith), and have to undergo a long trip across the United States in a semi equipped with its own runway. Their challenge is to try and discover the most talented teenage fashion designers from all areas of the country. The winner will model in a high-end New York fashion show and win a pair of diamond-studded go-go boots. Competing against the staff from the magazine "Your Thing", headed by editor Berdine (Wendie Malick – from television's Just Shoot Me), is as dicey as it always is due to their lack of sportsmanship and win at all cost mentality. It becomes even more of a challenge for the Bratz when they are faced with a haunted town, a hitchhiker and a young designer named Mandy who seems nice at first glance, but really isn't. The girls really have to learn about persistence and the value of teamwork.
Become the coolest Mom or Dad on the block when you buy this film for your 6-11 year old little girl and host a Bratz-themed slumber party or the like. The Bratz are the most popular franchise among girls 8-11 on the market. Like all good marketers, The Bratz DVD will be released with a tie-in to a Bratz Forever Diamondz toy line, music CDs and games. Bring your wallets! It is like an automatic babysitter though and the girls will want to watch it time and time again.
