Desperate Housewives: The Complete Fifth Season

This primetime soap started off its life as many people's guilty pleasure. By the time the fifth season rolled around many fans had grown tired of the show's crazy antics and turned their attention to something else. Others still love the show's dark look at life in the suburbs and the lives of the housewives who populate it. We all have to admit that despite its trashy nature it certainly has its finger on the pulse of American pop culture.

Episode 1: You're Gonna Love Tomorrow: We jump forward five years into the future.

Episode 2: We're So Happy You're So Happy: Gaby works hard to mask the fact that her social status has dropped considerably.

Episode 3: Kids Ain't Like Everybody Else: Bree's estranged daughter, Danielle, returns to Wisteria Lane.

Episode 4: Back in Business: The women of Wisteria Lane are jealous of bree's success.

Episode 5: Mirror, Mirror: Jackson wants to get more serious with Susan.

Episode 6: There's Always a Woman: Lynette believes that Tom is cheating on her.

Episode 7: What More Do I Need?: Lynette and Tom find out something disturbing about Porter.

Episode 8: City on Fire: A reporters threatens to expose all of Bree's faults.

Episode 9: Me and My Town: Susan has to let go of the man she loves.

Episode 10: A Vision's Just a Vision: Lynette will go to any length to protect her son.

Episode 11: Home is the Place: Gabrielle encourages Carlos to take a high paying job even if it means him being away a lot.

Episode 12: Connect! Connect!: Susan and Edie are forced to spend some together when they are locked in a basement.

Episode 13: The Best Thing That Could Have Happened: Eli Scruggs (played by Beau Bridges) dies and the residents of Wisteria Lane realize how much he meant to them.

Episode 14: Mama Spent Money When She Had None: Gabrielle joins Edie's boot camp in order to get back into shape.

Episode 15: In a World Where the Kings are Employers: Lynette breaks it to Tom that they have to sell the restaurant.

Episode 16: Crime Doesn't Pay: Bree tells Lynette that she will help Tom get a job.

Episode 17: The Story of Lucy and Jessie: Gaby convinces Carlos to hire Lynette.

Episode 18: A Spark. To Pierce the Dark, Part 1: Bree thinks about selling her business in order to save her marriage.

Episode 19: Look Into Their Eyes and You See What They Know, Part 2: The girls think back on Edie's life.

Episode 20: Rose's Turn: Susan tells Dave her deep dark secret.

Episode 21: Bargaining: Jackson (played by Gale Harold) is back and makes Susan a proposal.

Episode 22: Marry Me a Little: Bree goes a long way to hide the truth from Orson.

Episode 23: Everybody Says Don't, Part 1: Orson blackmails Bree into staying married to him.

Episode 24: If It's Only in Your Head, Part 2: Tom learns he has been accepted into college.
