The beauty industry with a focus on hair will bring all it has to boast or educate about during the annual 2-day Salon de la Beauté taking place at the Palais de Congres. Competitions, products and shows are just some of the ways that stylists, aestheticians and colourists from around North America will come together in Montreal to share what they know about hair and beauty for men and women.
This is the best way for beauty professionals to keep in touch with the trends and new technologies and products in their field. It is more than a trade show as its primary aim is to educate. If you are thinking of updating or renovating your salon or spa then this is the place for you.
Companies like L’Oreal, Matrix, Redken, Rusk, and Schwarzkopf will all be there and so will all their products at a discounted price. Many of the major companies will have ongoing shows going on all day long the two days about different subjects. Be sure to pick up a program and plan your day accordingly. Besides demonstrating the trends for Spring/Summer 2011 in hair, stylists will compete against each other in different categories like Avant-Garde Cut and Style for Men and Women and Evening Styles for Long-Hair Women.
The Salon de la Beaute is not open to the public but is reserved for beauty professionals only. Don’t fret! If there is a product that you want to get your hands on let your stylist or aesthetician know because I’m sure that they will be at the Salon.
