ABA Beauty Show 2012 Preview

The hair and beauty industries have always been ones that are continuously evolving and changing.  For the professionals working within these industries their skills are always being updated.  The learning process for these people is a lifelong one.  Events like the one the ABA (Allied Beauty Association) puts on help keep these professional in the loop in regards to worldwide beauty trends.

Over the course of two days (March 11 + 12) at the expansive Palais de Congres men and women who work in the hair and beauty industries will gather to check out new techniques and products.  On hand will be well-known colleagues from around the world who work for some of the biggest companies conducting cutting edge presentations concerning new techniques or products.  Some up-and-comers as well as students will also take part in competitions in various haircut/styling categories.  These are something to behold as you get to watch these creative and talented people perform under pressure filled and timed situations against others.  Check out the show’s website for the schedule of these competitions.

Huge companies like Farouk, Joico, KMS California, L’Oreal, Matrix, Nioxin, Paul Mitchell, Redken 5th Avenue, Rusk, and Schwarzkopf will be among those on hand.  You can peruse their booths and see what is new and even have the opportunity to purchase products at discounted prices.

The entire two days is exciting for those in the industry (it is opened exclusively to professionals in the hair and beauty industries) and offers the average hairstylist presentations and other opportunities they would not necessarily be exposed to.  If you are working in these professions then make sure you do not miss this event.
