Wicked Hopes to be Delightful

Adapted by Winnie Holzman from a novel by Gregory Maguire and featuring songs by Stephen Schwartz this is the story of the witches from the Wizard of Oz before Dorothy and her red shoes.

The story follows two very different girls who meet one another.  One is Elphaba, a strong natured, misunderstood green skinned girl and Glinda, a beautiful, determined and beloved girl. The story follows their friendship and how they went on to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

On tour after it’s very successful run on Broadway, Wicked comes to Montreal.  While on Broadway the show won 3 Tonys and a Grammy Award.
