Celebrating its 30th anniversary the Fete des Neiges will be setting up camp in Parc Jean Drapeau from the middle of January until the beginning of February (on weekends only).
Winters in Montreal are long, cold and filled with plenty of snow. Normally these are not things to get excited about, but the annual Fete des Neiges does make these things a little more bearable. Fun in the snow for the entire family is what Fete des Neiges is all about. There are more than 25 different activities, including dog sleds, sleigh rides, skating, tubing, zip-lining, and cross country skiing, so there is definitely enough variety to make every member of the family happy.
On top of all the activities there is also a Snow Village. The Snow Village has an admission fee (check it out online). There is an ice hotel, snow igloos, heated spas, ice bar with a terrace, ice restaurant, snow labyrinth, snow slide, and a snow chapel.
Admission is free, but there is a cost for some of the activities so check that out online.
