Calexico – Tex-Mex Indie Rock Band to Play at Corona

Just like the tastiness of Tex-Mex food indie rock band Calexico (named after a border town) has constructed a musical sound that has a lot of flavour.  A little bit mariachi, a little bit conjunto, a little bit of cumbia, and a sprinkling of Tejano music.  All this adds up to Calexico.

A long and colourful history is behind this band.  They formed in the early 90s and then recorded their first album for a German based label.  At that time they were called Spoke and then they evolved into Calexico.  Eight album releases have happened over the course of the next 17 years.

This show is general admission.
