(Ladies of a certain age sing it with me) “Backstreet’s back.” Boy band turned adults with kids, Backstreet Boys are back and with their original line-up as Kevin Richardson has returned to the group. The wait is finally over for fans of the Backstreet Boys. They are back to perform live in Montreal.
A.J., Howie, Kevin, Nick, and Brian are a vocal harmony group that formed in Florida in 1993. From the release of their very first album, the self-titled Backstreet Boys, in 1996 worldwide fame came about. They went on to become one of the biggest boy bands ever selling . Girls screamed and went crazy upon seeing them. Unlike many boy bands they pride themselves on their voices and show their skill by singing a capella whenever possible. Their voices do complement one another quite well. Their music’s sound has evolved over the years with it starting as R&B/dance pop and has moved into more adult contemporary music.
This tour is a celebration of their 20th anniversary in music and in support of their latest album, In A World Like This. Despite the fact that this is not their strongest album it should still be a great live show.
