The goal is obviously to construct upbeat pop songs that you can dance to. This type of sound and album has nothing inherently wrong with it though the duo has managed to make it all rather grating. Though all the songs on the album are originals they sound like rip offs of other artists’ music. You will hear songs of the same formulas used by artists like Flo Rida, Nicki Minaj and Daft Punk. White girl raps and reggae being incorporated into pop music? Sorry, but I have had my fill. Yes, they can be catchy and you will find yourself humming or singing along despite yourself. It doesn’t equate quality, however. Then there are the silly lyrics on top of all this…it just is not very good.
