If you are in anyway interested in cars then you have to head over to the Palais de Congres at some point during the Montreal International Auto Show. It is running from January 16 until the 25th, so there is plenty of time to attend. There will be cars that you could consider purchasing, cars of the future and cars that you can just dream about owning. In other words, if it is part of the car world it will be there.
This year there will be over 500 cars on exhibit from upper crust makers like Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Lamborghini as well as more attainable cars from Subaru, Acura, Chevrolet, BMW, Cadillac, Dodge, and Ford. Whatever taste you have in cars there will be something to make your head spin. Plus there are always some surprises.
Besides the typical car dealer areas there will be a couple of special areas to check out. Via Facebook people voted for the top 11 cars they wish to test drive and those 11 winners will be available during certain times each day. Once again there will be the Performance Zone for fans of modified cars. The electric car the Chevrolet Volt will also given away to one lucky Auto Show visitor. Kia is providing a Childcare area free of charge so little ones can stay there while the big people are looking at the cars.
This year the Montreal International Auto Show is partnering up with Just For Laughs to present a comedy show. The French only show is called “Juste une affaire de gars” and will be hosted by Michel Barrette. It will take place on the evening of January 21st and tickets can be purchased at www.ticketpro.ca .
