A comedy written by Tony Calabretta that deals with love, lies and family ties. The question is who will survive this mid-wife crisis? This is a story about your typical Italian family living in Montreal as they navigate the waters of life that can be calm or choppy.
An Italian woman is in the latter stages of pregnancy. She has no idea where to turn as she believes her anglo-saxon husband no longer loves her. Her parents live right downstairs, but they already meddle in her life too much. Can she rely on her brother who she worships? Not really as she would be too embarrassed. Her sister-in-law is a possibility though she seems to have the perfect marriage so she could not relate. Maybe her high school boyfriend and life-long friend Lou? He does not seem available though. So she is right back where she started – alone and confused.
