American Supergroup Prophets of Rage is Like No Other

Prophets Of Rage Perform At The WhiskyMembers of Public Enemy, Cypress Hill and Rage Against the Machine have banded together to make a new American Supergroup.  From Rage Against the Machine there is Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk, from Cypress Hill there is B-Real and from Public Enemy there is Chuck D.  The name comes from the Public Enemy song “Prophets of Rage”. They are looking to bring the power back to the people with their songs of protest.

They got together to be a voice against the mess that the United States is in especially politically.  Kicking off their live performances was a protest show that coincided with the Republican National Convention.  Now they are on the road to bring their musical brand of protest to the masses.  Their first single (to keep things consistent) is “Prophets of Rage” off the recently released EP entitled The Party’s Over.
