Metal Veterans Papa Roach on the Road Again

Papa Roach is not one of those rock bands that has a sound and sticks to it; they have been continuously tinkering with their sound with each recording. They have always been considered an alternative band, but over the course of the 8 albums they have released they have moved amidst genres such as nu-metal, rap metal, hard rock, and even a more radio friendly sound.

For instance, with the release in 2015 release of F.E.A.R. they went back to a more nu metal sound. They were fifteen years into their career and yet it seems like musically that this band has not changed in the least. The nu-metal band went back to its roots. It had that familiar feeling to it. You got what you expecedt from them with woe-is-me lyrics, heavy guitars and the familiar voice of lead singer Jacoby Shaddix.

Papa Roach have always approached serious topics in their music. Suicide, violence and heartbreak are not off limits.

Road veterans, the band has toured with the likes of Motley Crue, Nickelback, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, Linkin Park, Finger Eleven, and Disturbed.
