Sans Fifth Harmony – Camila Cabello

Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello began as many do nowadays on a reality show. She and her bandmates from Fifth Harmony were “discovered” on the second season of The X Factor U.S. After the show they signed on with Epic Records and became quite popular on the back of songs like “Worth It” and “Work From Home”.

In 2016 Camila left Fifth Harmony to begin a solo career. She began slowly by featuring on the Machine Gun Kelly song “Bad Things” and then her own single “Crying in the Club”. Both achievement moderate success. 2018 saw the release of her debut full length album, Camila. It has spawned the monster hits “Havana” and “Never Be the Same”. The album features plenty of Latin, hip hop and reggaeton influences while Camila cites Michael Jackson, Shakira and Rihanna as her influences.

Introducing herself as a solo artist will take place on her global tour, Never Be the Same, as well as when she opens for Taylor Swift on her European leg.
