The Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) ended, November 18. The award winners for this 21st edition were announced during the closing ceremony that took place Saturday, November 17th at the Concordia University’s Alumni Auditorium.

A Delicate Balance by Christine Chevarie-Lessard
The Women Inmatesâ jury is composed of five inmates of the Joliette Institution. Claudia, Isabelle, Marie-Ăve, Nicole and Roseline chose a winner from a selection of eight films from the official competition and Panorama. This initiative, implemented for the first time in QuĂ©bec for the RIDM 2011 edition, is made in partnership with the SociĂ©tĂ© Elizabeth Fry du QuĂ©bec, the Entente sur le dĂ©veloppement culturel de MontrĂ©al – project supported by the ministĂšre de la Culture et des communications and Ville de MontrĂ©al.
