Smooth jazz from the veteran musician. He brings nine new tracks, but does not do it alone. Juno Award winner Marc Jordan has called on his friends to help him out here. He built up plenty of musical contacts over the past two decades as he worked writing songs for the likes of Kenny Loggins, Chicago, Rod Stewart and Natalie Cole. As such, he can have great musicians like Randy Brecker, Lou Pomanti, Marc Rogers, Kevan McKenzie and Mark Lalama on speed dial. As if all that musical support/talent was not enough the Prague Symphony also provides support to Jordan on vocals. He is taking on some of the classics from the American roster of tunes here. These are all well-known and beloved songs from the 20th century. “Walk on the Wild Side”, “Wild Horses” and “People Get Ready” are just some of the songs on Both Sides. A different kind of material for Jordan, but he shows himself to be very comfortable. The full breadth of his talent and musicality is on display here. Another winner!
