Kaytranada returns to Igloofest
The hometown hero is back, as Kaytranada (QC) returns to Igloofest after his outstanding 2018 appearance broke all opening night attendance records! This Montrealer will once again heat up the Jacques-Cartier pier dance floor, delivering an exceptional set next February 1st at the Sapporo stage, following the release of his new album.
OFF-Igloo Nights: Rap, Drum N Bass and an extraordinary Boiler Room!
In addition to the 9 nights that make up its regular programming, Igloofest will present a series of special events on Thursdays, from January 23rd to February 6th as part of the OFF-IGLOO series. Notably, February 6th will be an Igloofest Boiler Room Special at Jacques Cartier pier: the London promoter of intimate DJ sets worldwide will, for the first time, team up with the World’s Coolest Music Festival for an ice cold event that promises to turn up the heat. January 30th meanwhile, will be 100% dedicated to local rap and Hip Hop, as the site parties to the sounds of LOUD (QC), winner of the Félix award for best male vocalist at the 2019 ADISQ gala. He’ll be accompanied by White-B (QC) and rising star Charlie Shulz (QC). Finally, January 23rd will launch these OFF-IGLOO nights with cult Drum N Bass trio NOISIA (NL), who’ll thrill crowds at Jacques-Cartier pier with a final set as part of their farewell tour’s stop at Igloofest’s Vahalla Snow Circus night.
