Netflix is pleased to announce that director Patrice Laliberté’s
debut feature Jusqu’au déclin will have its World
Premiere on February 28, 2020 as part of the prestigious Rendez-vouz Quebec
Cinema festival at the historic Cinéma Impérial in Montreal. This film marks
the first International Original Film to be made in Quebec by Netflix. The
film’s stellar cast features Guillaume Laurin, Réal Bossé, Marie-Évelyne
Lessard, Marc Beaupré, Marilyn Castonguay, Guillaume Cyr, Marc-André Grondin,
Isabelle Giroux, and Juliette Maxyme.

“I’m very proud to present my first feature at the
Rendez-vous Quebec Cinema, the first festival to program my first short film,
10 years ago. It was an honour to direct the first Netflix Quebec film, I still
have to pinch myself to realize it!”, said Patrice Laliberté.

Jusqu’au déclin is produced by Couronne Nord. The film will
be released theatrically in Quebec and on Netflix at a date soon to be
announced.

About the Film

As a way to prepare for disasters, family man Antoine attends a training
program on survivalism given by Alain, at his self-sufficient retreat.
Apprehending a natural, economical or social breakdown, the group goes through
drills meant to prepare them for apocalypses of all types. But the catastrophe
waiting for them is nothing like what they anticipated.
