Holy Hive covers Honeybus’ cult classic. ‘Be Thou By My Side’ is another example of a beautifully written and performed song by a relatively unknown artist which has almost been forgotten since its original release in 1972 . Paul’s honeyed falsetto is a perfect match for the tune. Paul sings accompanying himself on guitar with nothing more than a tambourine playing along.
