AN IMMERSIVE 360 FILM (FULLDOME) ABOUT THE WORKS OF RENÉ DEROUIN
AT SOCIÉTÉ DES ARTS TECHNOLOGIQUES

Hubblo, la Société des arts technologiques (SAT) and the Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal (RIDM) have announced that Territoires des Amériques, 360 film (Fulldome) directed by Patrick Bossé on the work of René Derouin will be presented at the SAT, from November 2 to 27.
Territoires des Amériques revisits sixty years of work by multidisciplinary artist René Derouin. Like an artistic and virtual travel diary, this immersive film follows René Derouin on the road to key places in his journey and his inspirations from Quebec to Mexico. During this documentary, the artist reveals the intimate links between his approach and his quest for identity through the production of an original work of large circular format, in perfect harmony with the form of the film.
After starting its tour in the summer of 2021, which will continue throughout Quebec until the winter of 2023, Territoires des Amériques will therefore stop in the Satosphere, the dome of the Society for the Arts and Technology, as part of the 24th edition of RIDM.
Directed by Patrick Bossé and produced by Pascal Pelletier, Territoires des Amériques is distributed by Hubblo, the first Canadian company dedicated to the distribution and broadcasting of 360 content (Fulldome), immersive installations, interactive experiences, and virtual reality and increased. Territoires des Amériques is also the first work distributed by Hubblo.
