SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 OPENS IN US THEATERS APRIL 8

Kid Cudi shares a new track entitled “Stars In The Sky” from the upcoming film Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The record, which was produced by Take A Daytrip and Dot Da Genius, serves as the only original song in the film.

The accompanying video made its global broadcast premiere on various Paramount linear channels in the US, including MTV, MTV Live, MTVU, BET Jams, and Nick Music as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboard.

Once again, Kid Cudi delivers an inimitable and infectious intergalactic anthem buoyed by fittingly cinematic production and a signature magnetic melody. Lyrically, he nods to a handful of classics, “This is my heaven baby, day and night in my zone, and takes to the skies on the hook, “I’m out I’m rollin. Til the stars in the sky. Babe I’m home. The accompanying visual intercuts the superstar with new footage from the upcoming film.

It marks the GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum sonic visionary’s first original music since his seventh full-length studio album and the third installment of his legendary Man On The Moon series, Man On The Moon III: The Chosen [Republic Records].
