Owen Kline’s Funny Pages will open on August 26th. Presented as a world premiere at the Directors’ Fortnight of the last Cannes Film Festival, this comedy stars Daniel Zolghadri (Eight Grade), Matthew Maher (Our Flag Means Death), Maria Dizzia (Orange Is the New Black), and Josh Pais (Joker).

The first film of the actor and cartoonist Owen Kline, known for his role in Noah Baumbach’s film The Squid and the Whale, FUNNY PAGES which takes place in the suburbs of New Jersey and presents the nostalgic universe specific to the director through the adolescence of Robert (Daniel Zolghadri).
Distributed in Canada by SPHÈRE FILMS, FUNNY PAGES will open in theatres in Montreal in its original English version with French subtitles on August 26, 2022.
