Canadian Jazz singer Molly Johnson has a unique voice and a sound that is reminiscent from the type of music heard in jazz clubs. "Summertime" will instantly hook you with Johnson's vocals and it's groovy sound. "I Must Have Left My Heart" is a sweet little tune, which has a beautiful piano rhythm accompanying her deep and raspy voice. Love is in the air on "He's Got My Heart." Johnson's vocals are soulful on "Miss Celies's Blues." The talented singer also shines on the melodic "Red Cardinal." It's upbeat jazz that will surely charm listeners. "Haunted" takes on a darker tone but does stand out nevertheless. All in all this is a charming album and is a must have for jazz lovers.
