The opening track, “Reptile”, by Eric Clapton is a bright, upbeat song that sets the mood for the rest of this disc. “Samba Pa Ti” is another rhythmic piece that is an undeniable Santana classic. As the CD plays, your ears will be treated to sounds from the Gipsy Kings, George Benson, and Jeff Beck. There are too many fantastic pieces to name on this 18-track collection. The Buena Vista Social Club’s “Chan Chan” is definitely one of the grooviest Latin tracks on the record; it’s also the only song with a vocal track, which really gives Guitar Music for Small Rooms 2 a nice twist.
