This lady certainly has a style all her own. Her voice is soulful and sophisticated. Dee Dee grew up surrounded with various genres of music such as opera, rock, cabaret, folk, pop and jazz of course. She has also performed in numerous festivals, including Montreal's very own prestigious Jazz festival in July 2000. This album begins with the enchanting melody of "This Is New." The track "Lost In The Stars" is delightful. "My Ship" is gentle and Dee Dee's voice flows with ease. "Alabama Song" adds some swing to a tune that will get your toes tappin'. "I'm A Stranger Here Myself" is also remarkable, so is "September Song" and "Here I'll Stay."
