While people of my age (26) and younger probably have not heard of this classic Western, it was America’s longest running Western series. Set in the rough-and-tumble locale of the known to everyone for the wrong reasons, Dodge City. It is up to Marshal Matt Dillon (played by James Arness) to try and keep the peace. This is difficult for one man as there always seems to be cattle rustlings, gunfights, brawls and land fraud going on. Whatever salary he makes it isn’t enough.
