Throughout his career, which started in the late 1970s, Prince has been something of an enigma. Never predictable and certainly not boring. He has been called talented, crazy, prolific, outrageous, mysterious, and a rule breaker. What Prince has never been called is boring. On stage he commands your attention as a consummate showman. His flamboyancy has sometimes led to Prince’s undeniable talent being overshadowed. This talented musician is an accomplished guitar player, has an impressive vocal range and is comfortable within the rock, R&B, soul, pop, jazz, and funk genres. Prince has not only written a string of hits for himself like “Raspberry Beret”, “Little Red Corvette”, “Let’s Go Crazy”, “Purple Rain”, and “When Doves Cry” and for others like Sinead O’Connor (“Nothing Compares to You”), The Bangles (“Manic Monday”), Joan Osborne (“One of Us”), Stevie Nicks (“Stand Back”), and Chaka Khan (“I Feel For You). Wherever you are sitting for this show the atmosphere will be electric. Additional Information: |
