RIDM finished up this past Sunday and its twelve days seemed to zoom by. There was not enough time in the day to work and get out to see all the wonderful documentaries they had to offer. Just because the film fest is over don’t think that there are no outlets for you to get your documentary film fix at. Starting in a few short months (two to be exact) RIDM continues its good work with Docville 2012. Docville gives Montrealers the chance to see premieres of some of the best documentaries produced. The screenings happen on the last Thursday of every month (January 26, February 23, March 29, April 26, May 31, June 28, August 30, September 27). The movie card for the festival will be available at Excentris for a very reasonable $50. The films will be announced three weeks before their screening.
