Disturbed is on quite a winning streak as their last three albums, Believe (2002), Ten Thousand Fists (2005) and Indestructible (2008), all debuted at the number one position on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart. They began working on this album as soon as they ended their 2009 tour. Making the decision to produce the album themselves, Disturbed demonstrates that the process of evolving as a band is continuing. The sound is very "Disturbed", but working at a more complex level musically.

The music is still pounding metal that features anthemic sing (or scream)-a-long choruses. It starts off strong then fades a little towards the end. Still plenty of very slick guitar riffs and pounding drums to be found.

A cool little item in the CD is a card that allows you access to download or stream a documentary entitled "Decade of Disturbed". It is an interesting and revealing documentary that takes you through the history of the band, its tours and the strong relationship they have formed with their fans over the years.
