Beck / Sea Change

Beck has been known to experiment with various music genres such as folk, rock, pop and even hip hop. Their music is eclectic to say the least. Singer/songwriter Beck Hansen
got noticed in 1994 when his single "Loser" starting getting radio airplay. His debut album entitled Mellow Gold was also released the same year and quickly achieved Gold status. A few more albums followed and now Beck returns with a new album entitled "Sea Change." What really does stand out is the instrumentation on this album. Can't say much for the lyrics or the vocals. "Golden Age" is a decent track. "Paper Tiger" is somewhat odd and a bit drab musically. "Guess I'm Doing Fine" is a smooth pop rock tune. Some notable tracks are "Lost Cause" and "Sunday Sun."
