Ms. Thing

Ms. Thing has been getting a lot of recognition as of late. Recently, one of Jamaica's best-loved artists Beenie Man featured Ms. Thing on his hit "Dude". The video was aired on MTV, thus launching Ms. Thing into the spotlight. At 17, Ms. Thing has already made a big name for herself. In fact, she is the first female dancehall artist to hail from Jamaica, living up to the title of her first album. "Miss Jamaica" features 14 solid reggae/dancehall tracks that will have you shaking your booty all night long. Dance beats are complimented with honest lyrics, reflective of every day events in the life of the Kingston teen. Working with super-producer Dave Kelly enabled Ms. Thing to bring her creative writing and love for Jamaican music together. The album also features a number of guest artists, including long time friend and protégé Beenie Man, who joins Ms. Thing on "Ms. Thing & The Doctor". Other hot acts include Vybz Kartel on "It Haffi Good", Swtich on "Love Guide", and legendary soca artists Sugar Daddy on "Sweet Soca Music".
