It's All Gone Pete Tong was a movie released earlier this year about a DJ at a dance clubs; this makes the soundtrack for the movie all that more important. James Doman and Ben Cherrill have compiled the music for the soundtrack of the movie It's All Gone Pete Tong. This 36 track 2 CD compilation starts off mellow and ends high energy. The first CD is comprised of music from the more gloomy parts of the film and includes Goldfrapp's remix of Depeche Mode's 'Halo', the 1930s song 'Parlez Moi D'Amour' by Lucienne Boyer, and 'Good Vibrations' by The Beach Boys. The second CD is comprised of club/trance type music which, if you are a fan of this type of music, you will certainly be familiar with many of the songs. The CD really picks up the pace with tracks such as a remix of 'Flashdance' by Deep Dish, 'Frenetic' by Orbital and 'Back to Basics' by Shapeshifter. This CD is a perfect one to play in your car while driving on a warm summer day or evening.
