Escaping from the hustle and bustle of New York City, The Rosewood Thieves set up shop in a remote country farmhouse that they dubbed Decker House and set about recording some music. The fresh air and no contact with the outside world (no cellphones or computers were there) must have done them some good because the result was this 5 song EP. The album is a mix of pop, rock, roots, and alt-country music which benefits from the band's ability to write catchy melodies and interesting lyrics. Due to their pop sensibilities you can tell this band was/is hugely influenced by The Beatles. I guess you cannot go far wrong with the most popular band ever as your jumping off point.
